    As you know, we’ve been transitioning our eating for 10 months now.  It recently came to my attention, that, duh, there are other chemicals in our environment that I should probably pay attention to – like in my laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, hand soap, other cleaners, toothpaste, hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner, etc, etc.  Whew.  Time for another overhaul.   • The joys of co-ops

    We have recently joined two co-ops and I LOVE them!!  They are a great way to get organic food, for significantly less money than the grocery store. I’m part of a meat co-op that has Whole Foods quality meat at awesome prices.  $4.59/lb for chicken breasts, 2.99/lb for ground turkey, and 3.99/lb for beef.  The meat tastes so good too.  We place our orders once a month by emailing the host, and then pick it up at her home in Colleyville, usually on a Friday afternoon.  They will hold the meat for you if you can’t come during the pickup window.  There are no minimum orders.  Email me at selahfalk…
